Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do you inflate the bouncy castle when you have delivered it? Will I be able to put it down?

A: Our bouncy castles are inflated using electric fan blowers. They are simply plugged in to a suitable socket in your house or out building. We use heavy duty weatherproof cables which are 100% safe to use outdoors and measure 50ft each, making it hassle free when it comes to set up.

Q: What happens if it’s raining or particularly bad weather on the day of the booking?

A: Booking will continue to go ahead unless you cancel, we don’t cancel due to the rain (We do live in Britain) however if wind speeds are predicted at 24mph or above, we will then have to get in touch regarding cancellation due to health and safety (please see terms & conditions regarding weather and cancellations)

Q: Will it be possible to have a Bouncy Castle on the first floor or above?

A: We are able to hire some inflatables on higher floors providing accessibility. Please be aware that you must inform us at the time of booking of any accessibility issues to avoid disappointment if staff are unable to deliver. Please always select the appropriate access option on the booking form.

Q: How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?

A: The dimensions of our inflatables are shown on product information, please also allow an additional 5 feet both back and front and at least 2 feet at the sides. This allows room for the blower, mats and correct anchorage.

Q: What kind of access do you need when you deliver the castle?

A: The castles are wheeled in via sack truck, so we will need a standard size path to get the castle in to your garden or venue. If you have a lot of steps or a tight entrance way, please inform us so that we can assess this. Please note that any damage to flowerbeds, furniture or other assets due to accessing the delivery/collection is not our responsibility.

Q: Can the bouncy castles go indoors?

A: Yes the bouncy castles can go indoors but you must check the height of the ceiling before booking. The ceiling must be higher than the height of the castle booked and clear of any fans, overhead projectors etc. Heights of all our castles are on our website.

Q: Are you fully insured, if a child gets injured who's to blame?

A: We carry 5 million pounds worth of public liability cover, however as per our terms and conditions we cannot be held liable for any injuries caused whilst the castle is in your care. You are the sole person responsible for the castle and its use and therefore should anything happen, you are liable to a claim as the hirer. Our Public Liability covers US against set up faults or faulty equipment etc.

Q: How much notice to I need to give to book a castle?

A: We require a minimum of 48 hours. During busy times we book up well in advance so let us know as soon as you have a date in mind, we will do our best to accommodate you. We can sometimes take last minute bookings and will always do our best to accommodate you.

Q: Do you charge for cancellation?

A: We do not charge for cancellation. You pay a booking fee which is deducted from your total price, which may no longer be refundable in the form of store credit or rescheduled booking. Please read terms & conditions regarding cancellations.

Q: When the castle is delivered, do I have to set it up myself or do you do it?

A: The operator (us) will completely set up the castle, talk you through a health and safety briefing, sign paperwork and leave you with a copy of regulations and an anemometer to check wind speeds. When we turn up to collect the castle, we will also dismantle it. Please leave inflated at the end for us to inspect.

Q: How many children/adults are allowed on the castle?

A: Each castle has different limits. Please note children's castles should never be used by heavier adults, remember the hirer is responsible for any damage.

Q: Can you put a bouncy castle on a concrete floor?

A: We do offer hard standing using a drill and bolt technique. Please call us in regards to your query.

Q: How long do I get the keep the bouncy castle?

A: We usually deliver the castles first thing in the morning and then collect them later on that day. If you want it for more than one day please mention this when you book, this will of course be reflected in the price.

Q: Am I allowed to hire this castle from you and then charge people to use the castle?

A: Yes you are, but you must bear in mind that you are in charge and must make sure that people who use the castle are safe, don't overload the castle to try to make extra money. As the hirer you are liable for any damages.

Q: How many children can fit in a bouncy castle?

A: Generally speaking, approx. 6 kids at one time. This really depends on the size of the children and the castle. Some children are more boisterous than others so common sense is strongly advised.

Q: Are your units safe? Will you teach me how to have a safe day of fun?

A: Yes, We review all safety rules with you prior to use. While no one can guarantee safety, we do everything we can to promote safe use of our products to ensure your day is filled with fun, not hospital visits.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Prices start from £65 For a children’s castle. All the prices are on the individual products on our website. This is a daily hire, not hourly.

Q: What are the appropriate ages for bouncing?

A: We cover all ages. We are insured for children, teenagers and adults, so anybody can join in the fun. That said, each unit has a different age range. This MUST be checked as if you are over the recommended age the insurance will be void.

Q: My garden slopes a bit - will that be OK?

A: This depends on the angle of a slope. We would need to assess the area. Your installer may request an alternate location so please have one in mind. The safety of the children comes first and foremost every time.

Q: Does it need electricity? How much does it use?

A: Yes. We will bring a 50 meter extension cord with us, so you'll need an outlet near the set up area. The blower runs continuously and uses approximately £0.12 of electricity per hour. Your blow dryer uses more than that! NOTE: All blowers and wiring are safety checked before delivery.

Q: What time do you deliver and pickup the bouncy castle?

A: You decide on the specific time you want the bouncy castle set up by and we'll have the equipment set up before that start time. It only takes approximately 15 minutes for a children’s castle to be set up and ready to go. If you have special requirements for an exact setup or pick up time, (for example, your event is in a location that you have rented for a specific amount of time) please let us know.

A:Yes! We do overnights for adult units at an additional charge of £30 and a £100 refundable deposit. In order to qualify for overnight hire, the area must be secure. We also reserve the right to cancel the overnight portion of any event at any time if we have reason to believe that our property is at risk of injury, damage or theft.

Q: Is it cheaper if we pick up the bouncy castle ourselves?

A: No. We do not allow this. All of our drivers are trained as professional installers and are certified to be the exclusive installer of our equipment. Our insurance requires that our installers do an onsite inspection as well. Where the safety of your children is concerned, we do not take any chances.
